Enrico Lerda
Writer, Director, Editor

I'm an aspiring filmmaker who launched my own independent production company in 2019. My passion for screenwriting, directing, and editing has led me to a path that combines creativity, recognition, and personal growth.

My work has gained international recognition, with two of my short films winning awards at global festivals. Showcasing these films at events like the United Nations’ Climate Change Film Festivals has allowed me to engage in important global conversations.

To refine my storytelling skills, I took creative writing courses at the “Holden School” of Turin and AFTRS, where I developed a deeper interest in filmmaking. Currently, I’m finishing my bachelor’s degree in film production at AFTRS, Australia’s top film school. Here, I’ve been honing my craft under the guidance of industry experts.

During my studies, I discovered a passion for documentaries, leading to the creation of a short film titled “PR,” which addresses immigration issues in Australia. This film, featured on SBS On Demand, allowed me to merge my personal experiences as an immigrant with my filmmaking.

My love for editing led me to work with ARIA (Australia Recording Industry Association) as a video content creator and editor. I've also taken on freelance projects, collaborating with clients on commercials and corporate productions, transforming their visions into impactful visual narratives.

My background in the hospitality industry has sharpened my attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills—qualities I bring to every film project. I’m committed to continuous growth, embracing new technologies, and promoting inclusivity in my work.

I’m eager to connect with other filmmakers who share my passion for storytelling and to embark on new creative journeys together.
